If anyone wants them I have extracted them from the new combined set and can send them as package files (sorry dont know how to convert them into sims3pack) and the game wont let me uplod them to the exchange. I think it is so unfair of EA to only make them available to people who buy the set combined and not to those who already own Barnacle Bay and Bucaneers Bounty and dont want to rebuy it.

I'd like them, but not sure they would work in my game?
Back when I first started using the store i attempted to share an item with my sister only to discover that even though the package was put in the downloads folder, it wasn't able to be installed using HER game.
I'd hope that EA would do the right thing by those people who believed their "exclusive" claims and bought the items when they first came out- but I'm beyond believing EA really cares. Otherwise, they would have done something already (since people have been complaining about their plans for at least if not over a month).

They have been tested by someone else who does not have the (although she does have both the other sets) and although they show in the stairs catalogue as custom content as opposed to store content they do work as they seem to be just clones of other stairs from the game - send me a message here with your email and I can send them to you, but as they are packages not sims 3 packs they CANNOT be put into the downlaods folder they have to e put into a seperate folder called mods/Packages, the same way you install CC packages like twallians story progression etc.

I got REALLY lucky and saw them on the website when they released the March sets and downloaded them in the very short window that they were up. It seems like almost immediately they were taken off the website once I had installed them. The only one worth having, really, is the rope stair. I just wish there was a matching fence... Is there a matching fence?
And yeah, I did own both Barnacle Bay and Buccaneer's Bounty prior to there disk release. We were at the store yesterday and my husband saw it and asked why I wasn't asking for it. I explained it to him and he looked like he'd go beat up the CEO of EA for me if I had asked him to. LOL!

There is no matching fence........but dont say it too loudly or EA might hear and make a new version of BB which would include the fence and nothing else so we would have to buy it a third time

I'd be really really mad about the BB on disk thing if I had paid full price for Buccaneer's Bounty and Barncale Bay. Thankfully, someone gifted me Barnacle Bay and I got Bucaneer's Bounty half rpce on DD. However... I'm still mad about it, since I know some people probably did pay full price for both. When added up in USD, the two come to 2450 (or 2550, I can't remember if Bucaneer set was 800 or 900), and you can buy the disk for $19.99, so aside from past sales on the items, you're saving more money by buying the disk. Not to mention the free stairs.
